Samsung is expanding its popular ‘M series’ of smartphones. The company has announced the launch of Samsung Galaxy M33 5G smartphone. The key highlights of Samsung Galaxy M33 5G include big battery capacity and 120Hz display. The all-new Galaxy M33 5G succeeds Samsung Galaxy M32 launched in June 2021 at a starting price of Rs 14,999. However, the smartphone’s price was increased later as the base 4GB variant is currently listed at Rs 16,999.

Samsung Galaxy M33 5G is priced at Rs 18999 onwards. The smartphone comes in two options based on RAM and storage capacity. The base variant with 6GB+128GB storage is priced at Rs 18,999, while 8GB+128GB storage variant at Rs 20,499. As special introductory price, Samsung Galaxy M33 5G will be available at Rs 17999 for 6GB+128GB model and at Rs 19499 for 8GB+128GB variant. Additionally, ICICI Bank card users can avail an instant cashback of Rs 2000 on both the models. Galaxy M33 5G will go on sale starting April 8, 2022 at 12 noon on Samsung.com, Amazon.in and select retail stores.
Samsung Galaxy M33 5G smartphone specifications
Samsung Galaxy M33 5G is powered by a 5nm-based chipset consisting of 8 cores at up to 2.4GHz. The company, however, has not revealed the name of the processor. Galaxy M32 runs on MediaTek Helio G80 processor and the phone’s 4GB option is currently aavailable at Rs 14,999 on Amazon India’s website.
Galaxy M33 5G features 6.6-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 coating. For photos, Galaxy M33 5G sports 50MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide lens with 123 degrees field-of-view and 2MP macro lens. On the front, Galaxy M33 5G comes with 8MP camera that boasts of AR fun mode. Other camera features of Galaxy M33 5G include Single Take, Object Eraser and Video TNR (Temporal Noise Reduction).
Galaxy M33 5G comes with RAM Plus which the company says will intelligently read usage patterns and provides users with up to 16GB of virtual RAM to help multi-task with ease. RAM Plus or virtual RAM feature is one of the most common features found in mid-range and budget smartphones launched in 2022, across brands. Like its predecessor, Galaxy M32, Samsung Galaxy M33 5G too is a big battery phone. It packs in 6000mAh battery. The phone comes with reverse charging support and 25W fast charging. The smartphone has Power Cool Tech to ensure there are no heating issues in the device even after hours of usage. Mainly designed for mobile gamers and heavy video callers, this technology prevents over heating.
Other features of the Galaxy M33 5G phone include Voice Focus. This aims to cut loud background noise and amplifies the receiver’s voice while the user is talking on the phone.
