‘RRR’ box office collection Day 8: Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer crosses Rs 700 crore – Times of India

SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ has an excellent Week 1. The film continues to take the box office by storm. As per reports, the movie has collected Rs 37.20 crore on day 7. After eight days of its theatrical run, the movie has collected Rs 709.36 crore at the box office worldwide. And now, the movie has entered the second week and has maintained a stronghold at the ticket windows. It seems the advance bookings for the film are phenomenal.

Day 2 – ₹ 114.38 cr

Day 3 – ₹ 118.63 cr

Day 4 – ₹ 72.80 cr

Day 5 – ₹ 58.46 cr

Day 6 – ₹ 50.74 cr

Day 7 – ₹ 37.20 cr

Total – ₹ 709.36 cr

Meanwhile, RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, collected over Rs 700 crore worldwide in the first week. The film was made on a budget of over Rs 550 crore, and it recovered nearly Rs 325 crore through the sale of the film’s satellite and digital rights. ‘RRR’ is now the 2nd highest worldwide grosser in the Telugu film industry in the 1st week after ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion.’ Sources say the film is racing towards the 100 crore share mark in the Nizam region.

Speaking of ‘RRR,’ the movie is bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainments. Aside from Jr NTR and Ram Charan, the film also stars Samuthirakani, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Shriya Saran and others in significant roles.
