Todd Boehly is set to make his first official appearance as new Chelsea owner at Wednesday’s Premier League meeting.
All 20 clubs will reconvene on Wednesday to constitute the new season, and US tycoon Boehly is expected to attend the summit, which will be his first top-flight engagement since his £4.25billion Stamford Bridge takeover was ratified last month.
Behdad Eghbali, co-founder of joint owners Clearlake Capital, is also due to attend the meeting near Leeds on Wednesday.

The meeting will provide the new Chelsea owner with an opportunity to meet his new counterparts ahead of the first season without Roman Abramovich at the helm for almost two decades.
There was some concern in May that Boehly’s Blues buy-out would not be completed in time for Chelsea to attend the meeting – a scenario that would have raised serious doubts over the club’s participation in the Premier League next season.
But Chelsea’s entrance into next season’s league will be ratified tomorrow as the Boehly regime gets going.
