Zuraida Jardine makes small screen return as new host of Afternoon Express
Jardine stepped away from the spotlight in order to devote more time to her children and her studies in psychology and wellness, and now says it’s that very experience that will enrich her hosting duties on the show.

JOHANNESBURG – Zuraida Jardine is making a comeback to television as the new host of popular lifestyle programme, Afternoon Express.
“I am thrilled to announce my return to television, where I will be joining the esteemed Afternoon Express team from this week,” Jardine expressed.
Jardine stepped away from the spotlight in order to devote more time to her children and her studies in psychology and wellness.
The media personality believes her decade-long devotion to academia and health and wellness will be useful in her new gig.
“My unique expertise in wellness affords me a different lens through which to host this new direction for the show and connect with the audience.”
“Afternoon Express will address important topics around mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing, encouraging viewers to live life to the fullest potential,” added Zuraida, of what viewers may anticipate from her inclusion in the programme.
SABC 3’s programme manager, Sane Zondi said she was excited to have her back on the screens.
“I am more excited to see the content contribution and wealth she will bring onto the show given her life journey and growth.”
