Zarina Wahab reacts to Rabia Khan’s decision to challenge Sooraj Pancholi’s acquittal in Jiah Khan suicide abetment case – Times of India

Sooraj Pancholi was accompanied by his mother Zarina Wahab, when he attended court for the final hearing in Jiah Khan’s case on Friday. Due to ‘paucity of evidence’, the actor was acquitted of abetment of suicide charge. While Sooraj and his family felt relieved, Jiah’s mother Rabia Khan expressed that she will challenge the verdict in High Court.
Reacting to the same, Zarina Wahab told a news portal that Rabia can do whatever she wants for her satisfaction and that justice has been served. She also expressed her firm belief in the Indian judiciary system and added that truth always triumphs.

Soon after the verdict, Sooraj Pancholi had issued a statement, expressing gratitude towards all those who supported him in the past decade. He said, “The Verdict has taken 10 long painful years and sleepless nights, But today I have not only won this case against me but I have also won my dignity and confidence back, it took a lot of courage to face the world with such heinous allegations, I hope and pray to God that nobody goes through what I have gone through at such a young age, I don’t know who will give me these 10 years of my life back to me, but I am glad that this has finally come to an end not only for me but specially for my family. There is nothing bigger than peace in this world.”
