Yami Gautam shares her two cents on actors relying on PR heavy activities: Your work is your best PR – Times of India

There’s no denying that every actor wants to be seen and talked about in the media for positive stories. To ensure that, celebrities and their work, nowadays, are taken care by their PR managers. They are often seen handling their promotions or doing damage control over negative coverage. But Yami Gautam is one Bollywood actress who does not wishes to indulge in PR activities. Sharing her two cents on actors relying on PR heavy activities, the actress said that she wants her work to speak for itself.
The actress was recently seen in Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s thriller Lost and she has been winning accolades for her performance of a crime journalist. She has been thanking her fans for showering love and praises on her.

On Saturday, Yami came across a Twitter user who suggested that the actress should hire a better PR agency which will help boost her career. To which, Yami replied saying that she prefers to do things the correct way even if it requires her to take the longer route to achieve her goals.

“I see the power of PR heavy activities/reviews/trend/perceptions/image etc which actors are relying on, and I judge no one. But I am a strong believer in ‘YOUR WORK IS YOUR BEST PR’. It’s a longer route but takes you the correct way,” Yami tweeted.

Last year, Yami was appreciated for her performance in her film A Thursday. She will be next seen in thriller comedy Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga alongside Sunny Kaushal and Sharad Kelkar.
