If you love Indo-Chinese food just as much as I do, you would too be on the lookout for new and innovative places that are popping up in the city. WOW! China Bistro is the latest eatery on the block that I got the opportunity to try recently. While their trademark Indo-chinese delights was definitely a part of the menu, they have also added some interesting pan-Asian treats to the offerings. I tried some of the most intriguing things on their menu and was pleasantly surprised with the food at WOW! China Bistro.
I started off with the Shanghai Veggie Spring Rolls in the starter section. A bit thicker than usual spring rolls, it was filled with spicy noodles and veggies. A special mention goes out to the Honey Chilli Potato which were crisp and had the right amount of sweet and spice in them. The Chilli Cheese Stuffed Mushroom were also fulfilling and made for quite an addictive snack. Don’t think twice about ordering it!
Coming to the mains, I decided to stick to the basics with Chili Paneer in Hot Garlic Sauce and Veggie Hakka Noodles. The chilli paneer was ideal for lovers of spicy food. Meanwhile, the hakka noodles had an interesting twist of pepper in them which made them quite unique. Speaking of unique, the Molten Chocolate Spring Roll in the dessert section is something that I quite relished. Crunchy and layered with chocolate oozing from within, it was savoury and yet so delicious.
