When Salman Khan opened up about wanting children; revealed he wanted kids but ‘not the mother’ – Times of India

Salman Khan’s love for children is not new. The superstar has always shared a great bond with kids; be it his nephews and nieces or his fans.

In fact, he once spoke about having children of his own. In a throwback interview with Mumbai Mirror, Salman said, “I want children, but with children, comes the mother. I don’t want the mother, but they need one. But I have a whole village to take care of them. Maybe I can work out a win-win situation for everyone.”

While Salman still remains one of the most eligible bachelors in Bollywood, he has dated several women in the past. The actor reportedly dated Somy Ali from 1991 to 1999. He was also reported to be in a relationship with model Sangeeta Bijlani, who he almost got married to. The superstar was rumored to be in a relationship with Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif. He is currently rumoured to be dating model Iulia Vantur. However, Salman has never come out in the open about any of them.

The ‘Dabangg’ star, who is celebrating his 57th birthday today, December 27, hosted a bash at his sister Arpita Khan’s residence in the city. The party was attended by who’s who of the Bollywood industry. His BFF Shah Rukh Khan also made his presence felt at the do.

On the work front, Salman has films like, ‘Tiger 3’ and ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ in his pipeline.
