Watch: Passenger on board Pakistan Airlines flight goes wild, kicks window

A passenger onboard Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight from Peshawar to Dubai created a ruckus midflight and had to be controlled and tied to his seat.

In a video that is now going viral, the passenger can be seen suddenly punching seats, kicking the aircraft’s window and getting into a brawl with the flight crew.

His problems started after he started getting into an argument with the cabin crew on PIA’s PK-283 flight, IANS reported quoting Pakistan’s ARY News.

The man could be seen in the video stripped to his sleeveless vest, and suddenly getting on to an empty seat to kick an aircraft window with all his might.

The report said he also punched and kicked the seats and that during some of the violent bouts even attacked the flight attendants who tried to calm him down.

The incident took place on September 14, according to the PIA officials. But the video has now gone viral on social media. Watch video here.

The passenger was then reportedly tied to his seat in accordance with aviation law for avoiding any escalation in the situation. The captain of the flight then contacted the air traffic controller of Dubai and sought security. Upon landing in Dubai, the passenger was taken into custody by security officials.

The traveller has subsequently been blacklisted by the airline.
