Twinkle Khanna rang in her 48th birthday on December 29. Wishes poured in from fellow celebrities from the film industry for Khanna, including a special one from her husband, actor Akshay Kumar. Twinkle Khanna chose to celebrate her special day with her family and friends. Since the winters have seen temperatures drop even in Mumbai, the actor-turned-writer made it a point to soak in some sunshine on her birthday. She shared a few snippets from her birthday celebrations that she referred to as “a feast in the fields” featuring delicious cocktails, family and bright sunshine. Take a look:

She also used the hashtag ‘feast in the fields’ in the caption. In the clicks, we could see Twinkle Khanna with her husband Akshay Kumar as well as a couple of other close family members and friends. They seemed to be in an outdoor location with plenty of beautiful trees and sunshine all around. Everyone was holding some or the other cocktail or mocktail drink, and Twinkle Khanna also shared a snippet of the custom-made menu for her birthday in the picture carousel!

Previously, the celebrity had shared a clip showing her honest and relatable reaction to dinner party invites. She said that the invite fills her with dread and she doesn’t like the idea at all. “Give me breakfast, give me lunch and I am all yours. Just don’t say the words-Dinner party,” she said in the video.
