‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ advance booking opens on a promising note – Times of India

Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s romantic outing ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ will hit the screens mid-week, on the festive occasion of Holi. The film’s advance booking opened on Saturday evening and has recorded a decent start.
‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ has witnessed a good advance booking collection in NCR circuit for March 8, since it is a holiday there. However, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and West Bengal belts are expected to score low on day one. ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ is expected to sell around 70k tickets for the opening day in advance booking and is expected to rake in a total advance of Rs 5 crore nett plus for the extended weekend, reports boxofficeindia Currently, only ‘Pathaan’ is witnessing footfalls, while past releases like ‘Shehzada’ and ‘Selfiee’ have been washed out at the box office.

Amid the promotions of ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’, Ranbir had addressed the subject of his absence on social media. The actor admitted that he has an anonymous account but is very boring when it comes to posing pictures and reels. Ranbir had said, “I find being on social media a big responsibility, and my personality is very boring and on social media, you must entertain people. I don’t want this extra work in my life and I am happy not being a part of it. Plus on social media, you have to wish everyone every year on birthdays and if you don’t do it then trolling would follow. And, I have a fake account on social media where I follow my favourite people. I don’t have an official account, but I do have one anonymous profile.”
