Just days after sparking off engagement rumours, People confirmed that the couple is engaged. Rumours about Tom popping the question went viral after the actress was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger during BAFTA 2022 ceremony.

The ‘Betrayal’ co-stars walked the BAFTA 2022 red carpet hand-in-hand on Sunday night. While Tom looked dapper in a black blazer and trousers, Zawe looked stunning in a flowing pink gown.

The actress managed to concealed and hide her massive diamond-encrusted ring from photographers on the red carpet, by holding on to her purse. A photo from the BAFTA party gave fans a first look at her stunning engagement ring.

Hiddleston and Ashton reportedly met in 2019 while starring in the play ‘Betrayal’ and reportedly started dating while working on the production.

The couple were spotted showing off some PDA last September while vacationing in Spain, and they made their red carpet debut at the Tony Awards later that month.

Hiddleston is known for his role as Loki in the MCU, while Ashton is set to star in the upcoming ‘Captain Marvel’ sequel ‘The Marvels’, set to premiere next February.
