This “almost new” iPhone 12 is $100 cheaper than brand-new model; See how to get it

iPhone 12 has just hit the refurbished section on the Apple Store. So far, you could buy a new iPhone 12 in the US at a starting price of $699, which is still a lot of asking price for a 2020 phone. Those who are willing to save some money on a brand new phone now get the option to consider the iPhone 12 in the refurbished state. That means you almost get a brand new phone but with the internals of a used model. The refurbished iPhone 12 series only hits the US stores for now.

With the refurbished models, there are some big savings to be availed on these models. It is said that with all the deals and offers combined, the refurbished iPhone 12 64GB variant can save you almost $110, while the 128GB variant of the same can save you $120. The higher-end iPhone 12 Pro with 128GB of storage will save you almost $140, whereas the 256GB variant of the same will save you $150. Lastly, the 512GB iPhone 12 Pro will set you back by $180. These are not bad deals, given that you are getting almost new models.

iPhone 12 now on refurbished stores

Note that Apple’s refurbished products are refined before being sold to the public. Hence, refurbished iPhones may have the original internals of the used model but Apple carries out necessary repairs, if required, and replace the battery along with a new outer shell, the latest version of iOS installed, and a one-year warranty applied. Apple also offers free delivery and free returns.

Apple is yet to bring its refurbished offerings to the Indian Apple Store Online. Currently, the most affordable iPhone that Apple sells via its stores is the new iPhone SE 2022; the new version gets the same A15 chip from the iPhone 13, bringing 5G connectivity. The new iPhone SE 2022 also gets more durable glass, improved battery life, and an updated rear camera tuning.

Outside of Apple’s official stores, the previous generation iPhone SE 2020 is still the most affordable iPhone one can buy today. This is followed by the iPhone XR and the iPhone 11, both of which continue to sell as entry-level iPhone models. The iPhone 12 recently saw a lot of demand during the Flipkart sale a few months ago.
