TCS revamps senior management under CEO Krithivasan – Times of India

BENGALURU: TCS, under new CEO K Krithivasan, has revamped its senior management and put in place a new operating structure.

The company said its executive VP and CTO K Ananth Krishnan will retire in October, and will immediately cease to be an SMP (senior management personnel).
Harrick Vin, TCS fellow and chief services innovation officer, is among the new SMPs and he replaces Krishnan. He has been in academia and industry for over 30 years and has been with TCS for 18 years. Prior to this role, Harrick headed Digitate, TCS’ software venture that uses AI and automation to transform digital operations.

TCS chief marketing officer Rajashree R is no longer an SMP. Abhinav Kumar is taking over as the interim head of marketing and communication units globally. Five other leaders were designated as SMPs. These include Shankar Narayanan, V Rajanna, Siva Ganesan, Ashok Pai, and Reguraman Ayyaswamy.
Narayanan is an SVP at TCS and has been with the company for over 30 years. Rajanna is SVP and the head of the communications, media and technology businesses. Ganesan is SVP and the global head of the Microsoft business unit. Pai is SVP and the global head of the cognitive business operations. Ayyaswamy is SVP and the global head of the internet of things (IoT) and digital engineering units.
The new appointments are effective August 1. Krithivasan, in an email to employees, said, “I believe these changes will help in deepening customer centricity which is pivotal to our growth…”
