Tamannaah Bhatia clarifies she did not break her 18-year-old no-kissing policy for Vijay Varma in Lust Stories 2 just for popularity sake – Times of India

In her 18-year long acting career, Tamannaah Bhatia has never kissed her co-stars or shot for intimate scenes in her films. But for Lust Stories 2, she has stepped out of her comfort zone and broke her no-kissing policy for her boyfriend Vijay Varma.
Speaking about experience of working in the web series, Tamannaah said that she really wanted to work with Sujoy Ghosh and she feels happy that the director thought of her for this part because she has done literally no intimacy in her career.
She added that she used to think audience would get awkward watching her romance and she had decided that she would never kiss on screen. Now, she feels that the Indian audience has evolved over the years and everybody has information on their finger tips. She did not want her inhibitions to hold her back as an actor. However, Tamannaah also clarified that she did not break her no-kissing policy to gain popularity. She mentioned that in her 18 years of career, she has several blockbusters to her name and she doesn’t need to do something like this just for popularity sake. She said that this was purely creative endeavour.
Meanwhile, Vijay is happy about the fact that Tamannaah confirmed their relationship. He said that there’s a lot of love in his life right now but he would like his work to speak more than his personal matters.
