Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Meetu Singh takes a jibe at the film industry; says ‘Sushant’s Brahmastra is enough to destroy Bollywood’ – Times of India

Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise came as a rude shock for his fans and the entire film fraternity. It’s been 2 years since his death and his fans often blame Bollywood for his demise. Having said that, Sushant’s sister Meetu Singh shared a post talking about the same post-Brahmastra’s release.

Taking an indirect jibe at Bollywood, Meetu shared a picture of her brother and wrote, “Sushant’s Brahmastra is enough to destroy this Bollywood. Bollywood has always wanted to dictate the public, never stopping to show mutual respect n humility.

She went on to add, “How can we let people like this be the face of our country which is so rich in moral values? Their sorry attempt of winning d public’s love wid pretentiousness has failed. Quality n Moral values r the only thing that’ll win admiration n respect”.

Earlier, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri recently opined that there is a lot of fakeness in Bollywood after media reports claimed that theatre chains like PVR and Inox suffered crores of loss due to Brahmastra’s release.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s ‘Brahmastra’ which was recently released, received rave and mixed reviews but great box office collections. While the film is one of of the biggest opener for Ranbir and Alia, several reports claim that the film’s reviews have caused a slump in the shares of theater chains like PVR and Inox. Apparently the cinema chains lost nearly 800 crore in market captalisation on Friday.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Vivek reacted to the report. He wrote, “Problem is everything runs on fakeness in Bollywood. And nobody is answerable. No industry can survive which invests 0% in R&D and wastes 70-80% money on stars.”
