Sunny Deol: There is love on both sides, it is the political game that creates all this hatred between India and Pakistan | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are all set to reprise their roles of Tara Singh and Sakeena in their much-awaited action drama film Gadar 2. At the trailer launch event on Wednesday, Sunny, who is also Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP, said that there is no animosity between the people of India and Pakistan but it is the political game that creates hatred between the two sides.

“The essence lies in humanity, not in taking or giving. There is love on both sides (India-Pakistan). It is the political game that creates all this hatred. And you will see the same in this film as well that the people do not want us to fight with each other,” Sunny said.

At the trailer launch, Sunny and Ameesha received a grand welcome with dhol beats as they arrived at the event dressed as their characters Tara Singh and Sakeena. Both the actors performed bhangra in front of the paps.
When Sunny went on the stage, he was seen getting emotional after looking at the warm response they received after Gadar 2 trailer was unveiled. Ameesha then went on to wipe away his tears on the stage.
Along with Sunny and Ameesha, Utkarsh Sharma, director Anil Sharma and the other team members of Gadar 2 were also present at the trailer launch. The film is all set to hit the theatres on August 11. It will have a big Bollywood clash with Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi’s OMG 2.
