Nobody has more fun at the Cowboys’ expense than Stephen A. Smith.
There are three things certain in this life: death, taxes, and ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith destroying the Cowboys and their fan base. We were blessed again with a collapse of the Dallas Cowboys to keep the yearly tradition intact.
And to add to the flare, this year it did not lack controversy.
It appears the Cowboys could not get a play off after a Dak Prescott scramble with 14 seconds to go in the game with Dallas down six.
Ask a Cowboys fan, and they will say the referee hindered the play from getting off. Ask almost anyone else, they will tell you the rule is and always has been the referee needs to spot the ball.
Needless to say, the Cowboys faithful were less than pleased after this, but also for most of the game. But who was there to mop up the tears and pour them over their heads? None other than Mr. Smith.
Stephen A. gets to laugh in the face of crying Cowboys fans
Smith got everything he wanted and more. He showed up for First Take for the first time in over a month due to COVID, and came back with his oversized cowboy hat and Cuban cigar ready to laugh in the face of former Cowboys great Michael Irvin.
Smith often calls the Cowboys an “accident waiting to happen,” and reminds us all through the season to “just wait.”
We waited, and the Cowboys delivered.
