Shweta Bachchan corrects Amitabh Bachchan’s age in his birthday post – Times of India

Amitabh Bachchan is ageing like fine wine and he embraced his birthday with a picture of himself stylishly walking away. He had captioned it, “walking into the 80s”. Quick to correct his age, daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda commented ‘79’, reminding the veteran actor that he had got his age wrong! Celebrities like Ranveer Singh and Bhumi Pednekar also wished Big B on his special day by commenting on the post. While Ranveer wrote, “Gangster”, Bhumi added, “swag..Happy birthday sir”.

Birthday celebrations for Big B began a day in advance as he cut a cake in the presence of ‘Chehre’ producer Anand Pandit. Sharinga glimpse from the same, the filmmaker had penned, “For each year that I have spent watching you on the Big Screen to each year that I have spent personally meeting you and working with you, each moment with you is remarkably inspiring! I am so glad that you visited us at our project and that we could begin the celebrations one day before. Amit ji, you truly are an inspiration and once again wishing you a very very Happy Birthday! @amitabhbachchan.” Wishing Big B on hi birthday, Shatrughan Sinha had shared, “Happy birthday to a very dear friend, national icon, one & the only one @SrBachchan a great, prosperous, healthy & joyous birthday.Long Live the favorite of the nation.”

Last seen in ‘Chehre’, Amitabh Bachchan has a busy schedule ahead. His next venture will be Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Brahmastra’. Directed by Ayan Mukerjee, this sci-fi drama also stars Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. Apart from this, Big B also has Ajay Devgn’s ‘Mayday’ and Nagraj Manjule’s ‘Jhund’. The veteran actor has also signed up for a pivotal role in Prabhas’ next untitled film and has ‘The Intern’ remake with Deepika Padukone.
