At the age of 16, Shreya sang her first Bollywood song, ‘Bairi Piya’ for Bhansali’s ‘Devdas’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Ever since then, there has been no looking back for the ace singer. Shreya is undoubtedly one of the most talented and top singers we have in the film industry.

On the 25th anniversary of Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the industry, Shreya had shared a post that read, ‘What an incredible journey of a man whom I look up to with utmost respect and awe. A maverick, a magician! A brilliant filmmaker and an outstanding composer. I have had such great fortune of working with him in so many films starting from my first. My debut in Devdas and in Hindi films happened because of #SanjayLeelaBhansali and the strongest belief that he had in me. 25 years of relentless passion for creating magic and excellence for cinema and music lovers and many more decades to go!!’

‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role. It also features Ajay Devgn in a special role. The film is slated to hit the theatres on February 25, 2022.
