Shin Min Ah, Kim Woo Bin, Lee Byung Hun, Cha Seung Won and others: Meet the final cast of multi-starrer drama ‘Our Blues’ – Times of India

The makers of the series on Thursday roped in real life couple Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin alongside actor Lee Byung Hun, Han Ji Min, Lee Jung Eun, Cha Seung Won and Uhm Jung Hwa for the key roles.

Touted to be omnibus-styled drama, the story of ‘Our Blues’ will focus on the bitter-sweet lives of different characters living in Jeju Island, South Korea.

While Lee Byung Hun will be seen as Lee Dong Suk, a countryside boy who lives off selling trucks, Shin Min Ah will be paired opposite him as Min Sun Ah, a woman with a secret who arrives at Jeju and meets Lee Dong Suk.

In the other narrative of the story, Han Ji Min will essay the role of a rookie female diver who harvests sea life. Full of energy and life, she will be surrounded by various rumours. But things change when a warm-hearted ship captain Park Jun Joon played by Kim Woo Bin crosses paths with Lee Young Ok and falls in love.

On the other hand, Cha Seung Won’s character Choi Han Soo will return to his hometown Jeju after living in the city. Lee Jung Eun as a fish shop owner named Jung Eun Hee, will be seen getting a second chance at love after 30 years when reunited with her first love Choi Han Soo. Uhm Jung Hwa as Go Mi Ran, will be seen as Jung Eun Hee’s close friend who moves back to the island after getting tired of the city life.

Penned by Noh Hee Kyung of ‘It’s Okay,That’s Love’ and many more hit dramas, ‘Our Blues’ is helmed by director Kim Kyu Tae who has ‘Scarlet Hearts’ under his credit. The K-Drama is slated to premiere in 2022.
