Shah Rukh Khan unveils Nayanthara’s feisty ‘Jawan’ character poster – Pic Inside | Hindi Movie News – Times of India
Taking to his official social media handles the superstar introduced his leading lady as the “thunder that comes before the storm”. Nayanthara, who is known for her work on films like ‘Kolamavu Kokila’, ‘Ghajini’ and ‘Netrikann’, will be seen playing the role of a cop in the pan-India movie directed by Atlee.
“Ready or not…she’s got the glock’ reads the tag line on the actress’ poster.
Besides the character poster, fans were also given a tease of the actress in action as she chases after SRK’s Jawan and his army of women. According to the makers, “Jawan” is “a high-octane action thriller that outlines the emotional journey of a man who is set to rectify the wrongs in the society”.
The film also stars south superstar Vijay Sethupathi in a leading role. Deepika Padukone will also make a appearance in the film. According to popular fan-thories the actress will likely play SRK’s mother in the film and will set him on his path to become a vigilante. The movie also features with
Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover and Mukesh Chhabra in key roles.
‘Jawan’ will hit the theatres on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
