There were a handful of twinning fashion moments at the Fendi Couture show in Paris today. For starters, Courtney Love and Rita Ora both showed up in similar powder-blue ensembles—even wearing the same patent wedge knee boots. (Jury’s out on whether this was planned or not!). A coordinated fashion moment that was preconceived, however? That would be the stellar complementary suits from Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor.
Paulson and Taylor are no stranger to walking a red carpet together, of course, and always in cohesive ensembles. Taylor has a penchant for streamlined suits, while Paulson will experiment with various dress shapes. For Couture week, they took their like-minded approach to dressing to the next level with sleek suits that riffed off each other. Paulson opted for Fendi’s brown, double-breasted style that had a deliberately oversized fit; Taylor went for a more tailored, gray single-breasted style, but paired it with cream wide-leg trousers to match Paulson’s more relaxed silhouette.
Even their accessories were in sync. To add a bit of shape to their looks, both stars opted for sharp, pointy-toe shoes, and matching leather top-handle bags. It was the perfect execution of what couple style should be: Complementary, yet also individualistic. Considering it’s the last day of Couture, it’s safe to say they’re officially the best dressed duo of the week. Unless another couple pulls out all the stops in the next few hours.
