Sanjay Kapoor recalls working with Madhuri Dixit; says ‘she is such an easy person to work with’ | Hindi Movie News – Times of India
Remembering his first shot with the actress in ‘Raja’, the actor said that he has some pleasant memories of the time. He remembered giving his first shot with Madhuri for ‘Zara Phir Se Kehna’ song back in January 1993 in a botanical garden in Ooty.According to him, she was not a superstar at that time but someone who was easy to work with. Although he later worked with her in ‘Mohabbat’ and ‘The Fame Game’, she remained the same. Kapoor added that he has nothing but excitement to work with her.
He further added that even during the promotions, interviews and during their appearances on reality shows, one could see that they were just having fun. According to him, even though she has become a superstar now, she is very grounded.
When asked what younger actors like Shanaya should learn from her, Sanjay added that where Madhuri’s job is concerned, she is very focussed. However, when the camera is off, she is super friendly with everybody. The actor recalled that during ‘The Fame Game’, after the shot he never saw her running back to her van or sitting in a corner with a book. According to him, although everybody has got their own personality, to make everyone feel included, especially if you are such a big star, is amazing. The actor also added that if she had that starry attitude, the work would have suffered. He would advise all the young actors to learn this from her.
