Samsung launches 8GB RAM variant of Galaxy A32 with RAM Plus feature; what RAM Plus feature means for users – Times of India

Smartphone brand Samsung has launched the 8GB RAM model of its Galaxy A32 in India. The new variant has a storage capacity of 128GB and is priced at Rs 23,499. Key highlight of the phone is the RAM Plus feature which allows users to virtually expand Galaxy A32’s 8GB memory to 12GB.
To recall, the smartphone was launched in 2021 in a single 6GB RAM model. It was priced at Rs 21,999 then and is now selling at Rs 20,999 after a price cut.
What is the RAM Plus feature?
Samsung’s RAM Plus feature enables one to expand their device’s RAM virtually. Purpose of virtual RAM is to make memory management better. Having virtual RAM can help your phone to keep more apps open on the RAM and can also reduce the launch time of apps, enhancing the multitasking experience on the device.
The RAM Plus feature was first introduced on Galaxy A52s 5G earlier this year.

As mentioned above, the new model carries a price tag of Rs 23,499. It will be available online at major e-commerce sites and Samsung.com along with offline retail stores across the country.
The Galaxy A32 8GB comes in three colour options – Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, and Awesome Violet.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.4-inch FHD+ sAMOLED screen with Infinity-U display. The phone’s display has a refresh rate of 90Hz and supports up to 800 nits peak brightness.
Samsung Galaxy A32 is powered by Mediatek Helio G80 octa-core processor. It packs a 5000mAh battery and comes with 15W adaptive fast charging. The device boasts of a 20MP camera at the front for selfies. On the rear, the handset has a quad camera setup comprising of 64MP main sensor.
