Prabhas’ latest film, Salaar, is gaining immense attention from his fans, who have shifted their focus from the disappointment of his previous movie, Adipurush. Directed by Prashanth Neel, known for his blockbuster KGF films, Salaar is a gangster drama that has already generated much anticipation.
After the setbacks and controversies surrounding Adipurush, Prabhas aims to concentrate on the upcoming release. The film’s teaser is scheduled to be unveiled later this week, as per media reports.
Renowned actor Shruti Haasan, who plays the character Aadya in Salaar, earlier expressed her delight at completing her part in the action-thriller. She praised Prabhas as an absolute darling and a wonderful co-star.
In October 2022, on Prithviraj Sukumaran’s birthday, the first look poster of Salaar was unveiled, introducing him as Vardharaja Mannaar. Prithviraj’s menacing appearance with a septum ring and silver chokers around his neck, along with a black tilak on his forehead, has intrigued fans.
In January, when Bhuvan Gowda – the film’s cinematographer – shared a behind-the-scenes picture, igniting further anticipation for the much-awaited teaser, fans of Prabhas flooded the comments section, eagerly demanding an update on the teaser.
Earlier, it was announed that the movie would release on April 14, 2022. Now, the worldwide release date is set on September 28, 2023, Prabhas is all set to collaborate with director Prashanth Neel for the first time in Salaar.
With a star-studded cast, including Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sriya Reddy, Jagapathi Babu and Easwari Rao, Salaar promises to be an epic cinematic experience.
