Sajid Nadiadwala recently opened up about the much-awaited next instalment of the popular ‘Housefull’ franchise. According to him, it will be bigger than ‘Housefull 4’.
In a recent interview, Sajid revealed that he has written the script of ‘Housefull 5‘, like all the other instalments. The filmmaker added that after a long day at work, one likes to have something spicy and that for him is the Housefull franchise.However, Nadiadwala also admitted that franchises are not easy to manage as you can reach the saturation point at any time.

He went on to add that any franchise can shut down any time. He revealed ‘Housefull 4’ was shutting down till Sunday, because it was a pre-Diwali release. But when Diwali started it became something else. It became one of the biggest films of Akshay Kumar.

Talking about ‘Housefull 5’, the producer added that he has tried to bring in all elements in the basket for the film and he is very excited. He also revealed that they will start shooting for the film from December 2023 or January 2024. It is slated for a Diwali 2024 release. According to him, it is a huge film and will cross Housefull 4 on the scale. He also added that they are planning to surprise everyone with the theme of the film.
Sajid Nadiadwala’s next production ‘Bawaal‘ is all set to release on July 21, 2023. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, it stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles.
