Saif Ali Khan’s sister Saba Ali Khan shares an appreciation post for Ranveer Singh and team ’83; Says, ‘This reminded me of Abba’ – Times of India

Saif Ali Khan’s sister Saba Ali Khan is often seen sharing priceless throwback family moments on Instagram. Recently, she shared her thoughts on Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s ’83. The Kabir Khan directorial recently was released on OTT which is based on the Indian cricket team’s 1983 World Cup win.

Due to the pandemic, the film kept getting postponed several times. But last year in December, it was finally released in theatres. It got rave reviews from critics but still, it failed to attract cinema lovers to the theatres and it affected its box office collection.

Saba, on the other hand, has loved watching the film and she cannot stop gushing over it. She took to Instagram and shared an appreciation post for the star cast. In her note, she also said that the film reminded her of ‘Abba’ Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. She wrote, “I loved this movie! I agree, the pandemic may have affected its performance in theatres and perhaps fans preferred other movies. #LiveAndLetLive. This reminded me of Abba, and us watching matches together. Kapil, played by @RanveerSingh, was brilliant. Each player…nailed their respective parts. @DeepikaPadukone as Romi…You too! @KabirKhanK you are a genius. Thank you for 83!” Have a look:
