Ryan Reynolds drops FIRST PIC of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in ‘Deadpool 3’ | English Movie News – Times of India

Ryan Reynolds may have just SPOILED his own film ‘Deadpool 3‘ by dropping a first-look photo of Hugh Jackman’s return as the clawed mutant Wolverine.
The actor, on Monday, took to his Instagram handle, to share a photo of Hugh in a comic-book-accurate yellow and blue costume famously worn by the superhero. Besides the costume, Jackman also debuts his character’s iconic spikey hairdo and beard.
‘Don’t Blink’ he captioned the post that was also shared by Jackman on his handle.Described by Reynolds as a Multiversal “road trip” with Wolverine, the picture that sees the two characters walking along on a dirt road in full costume, leaves the door wide open for endless potential crossovers, now that Deadpool has officially entered the MCU.
In past interviews, Jackman claimed that he had a ‘dual role’ in the third part of the anti-hero film. This in turn left fans questioning whether he was playing a variant of the superhero, who met his end in the events of ‘Logan‘.
According to reports, as the film will feature a much younger version of Wolverine, it will not change the sendoff his character and Patrick Stewart’s Professor X received in the 2017 film.

Besides Jackman, the movie will also see Jennifer Garner returning as Elektra, possibly making way for a rumoured return of Halle Berry’s Storm and Ben Affleck’s Daredevil.
Deadpool 3 will be rated R and is expected in theatres on November 8, 2024.
