Realme 9 Pro 5G users with the firmware versions– RMX3471_11_A.42, RMX3471_11_A.43, RMX3471_11_A.44, or RMX3471_11_A.45 can apply for the Android 13 Open Beta programme.
The company has also listed a few disclaimers to be noted prior to applying for the Android 13 Open Beta programme. This includes:
1) Ensure that your phone is not rooted.
2) Back your personal data for installing the update.
3) There may be some third-party applications which might not be compatible with Android 13. Therefore, it is suggested that users download the latest version of the apps available in the Play Store before proceeding with the update.
4) Keep your phone’s battery at least 60% or above before installing the update.
5) Make sure that there’s a minimum of 5GB storage available on your phone otherwise it may lead to update failure.
The company said, ” Due to unpredictable factors such as network communication and strategy adjustment, it is not possible to guarantee that every applicant will receive the update. In case the update is not received, we suggest you patiently wait for the official release.”
Here’s how users can apply for the Android 13 Open Beta programme:
1) Open the Settings app on your Realme 9 Pro 5G.
2) Go to Software Update.
3) Tap on the Settings icon in the top right corner of the screen.
4) Tap on Trial Version and enter the required details
5) Now tap on Submit details
6) Once done, click on Apply Now
You have now successfully registered for the Android 13 Open Beta programme.
