Ranveer was recently at the Marrakech International Film Festival in Morocco where he spoke about his struggling days. As per a report in Deadline, the actor said that once a producer had unleashed his dog on him at a private party, just for the sake of fun. The producer had done this despite the fact that he had only invited Ranveer for a meeting at his party. Ranveer clarified that the producer is no more and decided not to name him.

The ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ actor further also opened up about facing casting couch. He said that once a guy called him to a place and asked Ranveer if he was a smart worker or a hard worker. When Ranveer replied he’s a hard worker, that guy told him that he needs to be smart and sexy. Singh went through such phases and incidences for three and a half years. Hence, he values the opportunities that he has today, admitted the actor.


Ranveer who was last seen in ’83’ followed by ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ has an interesting line-up ahead. His next, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ will release on April 28, 2023. The film sees him team up with Alia Bhatt, and is directed by Karan Johar. Meanwhile, Singh also has Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’ which is slated for release on December 23, 2022.

On personal front, the actor celebrates his fourth wedding anniversary today with wife Deepika Padukone.
