Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra tied the knot in 2014 but there were rumours that the two were dating much before that. Earlier, Aditya was married to Payal Khanna and they got divorced in 2009. Now an earlier interview of the actress has surfaced on the internet. A Reddit user dropped the video wherein Rani had denied dating Aditya and she had said, “He’s a friend, he’s a person I’ve worked with in so many films and he’s someone I have great regards for.”
The reddit user dropped the video with the caption, “When Rani refused to being in a relationship with her friend Payal’s husband Aditya Chopra.Weirdly, they married 3 years after this interview.”
Some users also got nasty as one of them wrote, “Such a good actress.” Another one wrote, “It reminds me of the phrase, ‘some actors are always acting, not just in front of the camera.”
After denying their relationship, Rani and Aditya announced their wedding through a statement on April 21, 2014. They now have a daughter, Adira who was born on December 9, 2015.
