Priyanka Chopra didn’t want to get involved with Nick Jonas when he first slid into her DMs; Here’s why – Times of India

While Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ love story is nothing short of dreamy, did you know that the actress didn’t want to get involved with him earlier? Well, it all started through a direct message (DM) on Twitter. Priyanka spoke about her love story with Nick on a podcast recently.

Priyanka said in a podcast with Dax Shepherd that Nick slid into her DM’s on Twitter in 2016 but that time she was already in a complicated relationship. Moreover, she was 35 years old while Nick was 25, so, she didn’t want to really get involved with him. However, her friends pushed her to talk to Nick. Their conversation began then, and they exchanged numbers. PC got engaged to Nick within just two months of their dating.

The actress further revealed that Nick’s brother, Kevin Jonas had seen and loved ‘Quantico’. So, he pointed towards Priyanka at a billboard and told Nick that he should call me. Nick then DM’ed her and PC repsonded, ‘Why don’t you just text me?’ because her social media team would have read her DMs. She wanted to give her number to Nick at that point but she didn’t admit since she was already in a relationship.
PC and Nick got married in 2018. In January 2022, they became parents to a baby girl via surrogacy. On work front, Priyanka will be seen next in ‘Citadel’ and a romantic comedy called ‘Love Again’. She is set to begin shooting for ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt soon.
