A violent fight between two families over the issue of non-AC delivery room was reported from Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.
The fight broke out after one of the families got furious over their daughter being admitted for childbirth in a hospital room without an air conditioner.
The fight was captured on video which went viral ob social media.
The video showed that the family of the woman beat up her husband’s parents and sisters, leading to a full-blown fight between the two sets of relatives.
The husband’s family has lodged a complaint with the police, alleging that the woman’s family instigated the violence.
Ramkumar, the woman’s father-in-law, has said that his daughter-in-law had been admitted to a private hospital in Barabanki’s Civil Lines for childbirth, and he paid for all the expenses related to the delivery. But girl’s parents started abused Ramkumar for failing to arrange an air conditioned room. When he retorted, they allegedly assaulted him and his family members.
The police is probing the matter.
