Pichai: This is what Google CEO Sundar Pichai has to say to Tata IPL 2023 winners – Times of India

The Indian Premier League‘s 2023 robust run came to a close with Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings beating Gujarat Titans in the IPL final match and winning the coveted trophy for the fifth time. Google CEO Sundar Pichai, who is a self-confessed cricket fan, too seemed excited with the cliffhanger that the match turned out to be.
Pichai often tweets about cricket. In a tweet, post the final match, Pichai congratulated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for victory in the 2023 edition of Indian Premier League, Tata IPL 2023. “Some final that one! Great #TATAIPL as always and congrats to CSK! and GT will be back stronger next year!” Pichai tweeted after the nail biting last over of Tata IPL 2023 which saw Chennai Super Kings make a huge comeback to clinch the trophy.

Pichai quoted a tweet from Indian Premier League’s official account (@IPL) that announced the match’s winner. “???????? ???????????? ????????????????! Two shots of excellence and composure! Finishing in style, the Ravindra Jadeja way ???? #TATAIPL | #Final | #CSKvGT”, read the tweet from IPL handle.

Ravindra Jadeja showed his batting prowess as the all-rounder stole victory from the jaws of defeat to help Chennai Super Kings clinch a record-equalling fifth IPL title. With 10 needed off the last two balls, Jadeja slammed a six and a four off Mohit Sharma as MS Dhoni and co. pipped defending champions in a rain-marred last-ball thriller in Ahmedabad. Chasing a revised target of 171 in 15 overs after rain delayed the match, Chennai batters fired in unison, never allowing the required rate to jump up exponentially in a steep chase. Towards the end, Jadeja (15) showed great composure and scored 10 of the final two balls for a memorable victory.
