Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts uncertain to play against Cowboys with sprained throwing shoulder
According to reports from both ESPN and NFL Network Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and MVP candidate Jalen Hurts is in doubt to start this weekend against the Dallas Cowboys.
Hurts suffered a sprained throwing shoulder during the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.
Gardner Minshew will likely start for the Eagles while they allow Hurts to heal and return once fully healthy.

Even though the injury occurred in the third quarter Hurts was able to finish out the game, and even threw a 68-yard pass to set himself up to run in the game winning touchdown and two-point conversation.
Hurts finished the game with a total of 315 passing yards,61 rushing yards, and three rushing touchdowns, as the Eagles won 25-20.
The team has also already clinched playoff berth with the remaining games of the season being critical to determine playoff seeding.
