Pakistani MP grooves to Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s song ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani’; video goes viral – Times of India

Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’ garnered a tremendous response at the box office. The Rohit Shetty directorial was released last year after a long delay due to the pandemic. It caught everyone’s attention as it featured Katrina and Akshay’s recreated version of ‘Tip Tip Barsa’ song. Soon after the song was released, it started spreading like a wildfire. Recently, MP Aamir Liaquat Hussain, who is Pakistan’s Member of the National Assembly, was seen grooving to the song and his video has gone viral on the internet.

In the video that has surfaced on Twitter, he can be seen nailing the moves like a pro! The people are around him are seen cheering for him. Have a look:

While a lot of people loved Akshay and Katrina’s new version, but a certain section of the audience was disappointed. They believed that only Raveena Tandon, who featured in the original song, could do justice to the song. Recently, Raveena reacted to Katrina replacing her in the song. In an interview, she said that the trend of Bollywood being scared of women of a certain age is slowly wearing out and the change is coming up. As far as the item songs are concerned, Raveena feels it has been a win-win situation as they get a new beat, a new life.

On the work front, Akshay will be next seen in ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Prithviraj’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’ and ‘Cinderella’. While Katrina has ‘Tiger 3’, ‘Phone Bhoot’ and a film with Vijay Sethupathi.
