On Vijay Sethupathi’s birthday, team Merry Christmas, Sanjay Kapoor and others announce a wrap – Times of India

Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi has turned 45 today and the team of Merry Christmas were in for a double celebration. To mark the occasion, Sanjay Kapoor took to social media to announced the wrap of the film in his latest post.
In the picture, Sanjay Kapoor was seen sharing the frame with Vijay Sethupathi, director Sriram Raghavan and producers Ramesh Taurani and Sanjay Routray. “It’s a wrap , Merry Christmas, extremely fortunate to work with Sriram Raaghavan , Happy Birthday @actorvijaysethupathi it was such a pleasure working with you , #merrychristmas , #sriramraghavan @rameshtaurani @matchboxpix @tips @katrinakaif,” Sanjay captioned the image.

Replying to Sanjay’s post, his brother and veteran actor Anil Kapoor wrote, “Looking forward to the film, Sanjay… A fabulous team coming together.” Ramesh Taurani also shared the picture and wrote, “Happy birthday @actorvijaysethupathi May this birthday be a ‘Merry’ one with the release of our film #Merry Christmas soon ???? May you continue to have roaring success at the box office and May you always be surrounded in love and blessings. Best wishes always.

Merry Christmas marks the first collaboration of Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif as leading actors. The movie was announced in 2021 and it is expected to release in December this year. It was supposed to release on Christmas last year but it got delayed. Katrina had shared the first poster of the film and had written, “We wanted to release the film this Christmas, but there is a twist. See you in the cinemas soon.”

Meanwhile, Vijay will be next seen in Raj and DK’s upcoming crime thriller Farzi. It will mark the the digital debut of both Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi. The series also stars Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna, Amol Palekar, Regina Cassandra and Bhuvan Arora in pivotal roles.
