The Arizona Cardinals fired offensive line and running game coordinator Sean Kugler after he allegedly groped a woman in an incident Sunday night in Mexico City, according to an ESPN report.

Mexican authorities were told of the incident before alerting Arizona who then relieved Kugler of his duties and put him on a plane back to The Grand Canyon State on Monday morning.

Kugler was in the neighboring country with the Cardinals prior to their 38-10 dismantling at the hands of NFC West rival, San Francisco.

Kugler is the second member of the Cardinals coaching staff to face discipline this season.

Running backs coach James Saxon was placed on administrative leave after he was charged with two counts of domestic battery before resigning in October.

Dailymail.com has reached out to Arizona for comment.

Coach Kliff Kingsbury did confirm to Arizona Republic that Kugler was no longer on staff, but he declined to go into further detail.

‘We relieved him of his duties, and he was sent home Monday morning prior to the game,’ Kingsbury said Tuesday.

‘It’s challenging anytime you make a staff change in that type of manner.’

According to the team, the o-line is now the joint responsibility of assistant coach Brian Natkin and tight ends coach Steve Heiden.

The 56-year-old Kugler had been on Kingsbury’s staff since 2019 and was the head coach at UTEP from 2013 to 2017. He was popular among the players and Kingsbury routinely praised his work.
