Mouni Roy REACTS to fan comment that her role was more important than that of Alia Bhatt in ‘Brahmastra’ – Times of India

In a new interview, the actress reacted to a fan comment who stated that Mouni’s role was far more important than that of Alia Bhatt in ‘Brahmastra’. Replying to the same, Mouni said that there is no need to create controversy by asking such questions. According to the actress, her role was hers and she was focused on delivering her best.

Mouni also added that it feels great when the audience receives your work positively. Junoon had a quiet confidence and power, the audience received it in a way that even she didn’t anticipate, the actress told Siddharth Kannan in an interview.

Asked what she feels about being called the ‘main lead’ of the film, and carrying it on her shoulders, Mouni said that she feels like people are really loving towards her. In fact, she feels like her hard work of many years is paying off. The actress added that when you see the fruits of your labour, it feels amazing. But this is everybody’s film.

According to her, every single character is very important to make it what it is today, so you cannot negate anybody’s contribution to the film.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, ‘Brahmastra’ starred Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles. It also featured actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Dimple Kapadia in key roles. The film has been making record-breaking business at the box office.
