Moto X40 confirmed to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset – Times of India

Moto X40 may soon launch in China. However, ahead of the launch, details of the chipset which would power the phone have surfaced online.
Chen Jin, general manager of Lenovo Mobile Business Group has announced on Weibo that the Moto X40 smartphone will come powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
Moto X40: Expected specifications
The upcoming smartphone is rumoured to get a full HD+ display. It is expected to house a 50MP primary sensor. Moto X40 is tipped to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chipset which is expected to launch in the upcoming month.

The smartphone has also appeared on the China Compulsory Certification (3C) database bearing the model number XT2301-5.
Moto X40 is said to succeed the Moto X30 launched in China earlier this year.
Moto X30: Specifications
Earlier, Motorola launched the Moto X30 smartphone in China. The smartphone comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and sports a 6.78-inch full HD+ display with 144Hz refresh rate.
This handset houses a 50 MP triple rear camera setup and a 60 MP ultra-wide sensor in the front for selfies and video calls. Moto X30 is backed by a 5000mAh battery unit that supports 68W TurboPower charging.
