‘Mirzapur’ actor Brahma Mishra found dead at home; body sent for autopsy – Times of India ►

Actor Brahma Mishra, best known for his role as Lalit in the web series ‘Mirzapur’, has passed away.

It has been reported that the Police found the semi decomposed body of the actor in his Versova flat and sent it for an autopsy to Cooper Hospital.

According to reports, Mishra, 36, complained of chest pain on November 29, and was sent home by a doctor after receiving medication. Reports claim that he suffered a heart attack and died, however, a confirmation on the same is still awaited.

The actor’s body was reportedly found in the bathroom of his home, three days after his demise. The neighbours reportedly complained of a stench emanating from his apartment.

A key maker was summoned, who made a duplicate key and opened the flat. They figured that the stench was coming from the bathroom and when they managed to open the bathroom door, they found his body next to the commode.

His brother Sandeep Mishra, residing in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh has been informed about the incident. He has left for Mumbai.

The struggling actor was staying alone on rent at the said society since four years.

Divyenndu, Mishra’s co-actor from the Prime Video series,
confirmed the news in an Instagram post that read, “RIP Brahma Mishra Our Lalit is no more Let’s pray for him everyone.”

Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Swara Bhasker, Rajkummar Rao, Randeep Hooda, Manoj Bajpayee, Shriya Pilgaonkar and other Bollywood actors expressed their condolences and mourned the demise of the actor.

In addition to ‘Mirzapur’, Brahma had also been a part of projects like ‘Dangal’, ‘Manjhi – The Mountain Man’, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, ‘Hawaizaada’ and ‘Hello Charlie’.
