Micah Richards shows off his modeling skills to leave CBS hosts in fits of laughter during UCL show

Micah Richards continues to endear himself to American viewers, this time hyping up modeling pictures which he took prior to CBS’ coverage of the Champions League Tuesday. 

Richards, a former Manchester City star, has become a cult media figure since retirement for his light-hearted attitude and exuberance. 

The effervescent Englishman said previously he would be a model if not a professional footballer. So, naturally, the CBS crew reacted to professional photos of Richards – with some alongside his colleague, Kate Abdo. 

In truth, it was most Richards who reacted – of course, positively – even complimenting himself in French. 

‘C’est magnifique!’ Richards boasted on the humor-centered Champions League coverage.

CBS’ crew for the UEFA Champions League were given an insight to Richard’s modeling skills

‘So, that’s why you were late to the meeting,’ Jamie Carragher quipped to Richards and Abdo. 

After imploring colleague Thierry Henry to provide feedback on the photographs, the Frenchman said ‘That’s pretty cool.’

‘Finally, some loving,’ Richards exclaimed. The former England international is often ridiculed on the American broadcast of the Champions League and frequently the butt of Abdo’s jokes.

As if his modeling talents weren’t enough of a brag, Richards showed off his American accent Wednesday ahead of the all-Milan semifinal. 

The 34-year-old was given phrases and words to say by Abdo, Henry and Carragher in an attempt to really test out his accent. 

As most segments tend to do, it ended in widespread laughter, with Richards joining in to chuckle at his work.
