Manoj Bajpayee and Anurag Kashyap‘s collaboration with ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur‘ is considered quite iconic! But did you know that they didn’t speak to each other for many years before that? The actor and filmmaker had some conflicts due to which, they didn’t speak to each other for many years.
The ‘Shool’ actor said in an interview recently that they were once discussing a book and Anurag told Manoj, he doesn’t know anything about reading.That lead to an argument after drinking. They later fought outsideGulzar‘s house, at a pavement in Bandra. They kept crying and blaming each other for the situation.
Manoj revealed that all this happens only after drinking and that’s why he has quit because he started showing his vulnerable aspect to everyone after drinking. A few years later, the actor got a call from Anurag at around 10 30 pm and that one call solved all their conflicts with each other. Anurag sent his car and called Manoj to his office. He read out the script and Manoj told him to order a red win bottle. Anurag ordered two bottles instead. They raised a toast and that’s how Manoj’s character from ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’ – Sardar Khan was born!
