Mahaakshay Chakraborty says he isn’t friends with any of the star kids, admits he gets jealous of them sometimes | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Despite the fact that Mahaakshay Chakraborty, also called Mimoh, is the son of yesteryear superstar Mithun, he hasn’t been able to taste commercial success. In a recent chat, the actor opened up on growing up while being away from all the glitz and glamour of Bollywood and why sometimes, he gets pangs of jealousy seeing others succeed.

In a chat with a leading Television host, Mimoh said that he isn’t friends with any of the star kids.

Opening up on the reason behind the same, Mimoh said that he grew up inOoty, and was completely cut off from Bollywood. He further added that he has only casually met Ranbir Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan. He also added that he is a huge fan of actor Hrithik Roshan, but is yet to meet him in real-life.
The actor further said that while he is extremely happy when he sees other star kids do so well, he also admits that he get jealous sometimes because he has not been able to achieve that. He further said that he is human after all, however he understands that destiny too, plays a big role when it comes to success.

In an earlier interview with ETimes, Mahaakshay shared his thoughts on nepotism in Bollywood. He said, “I am the living proof and example that nepotism doesn’t exist. If it worked, I would have been doing every fourth or fifth film out there. But no, that’s not the case. I am still struggling like anybody else’s and I’m very proud to say that. When I didn’t get work it was because I didn’t get selected in the auditions. There’s nothing wrong with that. As an actor, you have to face the fact that you will get rejected and you should not take it personally. You are doing your best, right? I have gone to every audition, whether it is for television, whether it’s for films, whether it’s for web shows, I have done all of them. But as I said, I got projects because of those auditions. So I am very proud of the work I have received because of my own merit.”
