In Lokesh Kanagaraj’s action-packed narrative, Vijay takes on a dual role—one as a ruthless gangster and the other as a peace-loving family man.Trisha, reuniting with Vijay after 15 years, plays the wife of the male lead.Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Sarja portray the brothers of Vijay’s gangster character, setting the stage for a gripping battle among the trio to lead the gang. The star-studded cast also features Gautham Menon, Priya Anand, Mathew Thomas, Sandy, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, and Babu Antony, with the possibility of surprise entries by popular stars making special appearances.
Anirudh Ravichander, in his fourth collaboration with Vijay and third with director Lokesh Kanagaraj, has composed the music for ‘Leo.’ While three songs from the film have already been released, the rockstar composer is poised to enthral fans with the theme tracks. Cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa, his third film with Vijay after ‘Nanban’ and ‘Beast,’ promises a visually stunning experience enhanced by the use of technically advanced cameras. ‘Leo’ breaks new ground as the first Vijay film to release on IMAX screens, ensuring a heightened visual spectacle. With a reported budget of Rs 350 crores, the film has already turned profitable, fetching close to Rs 400 crores from pre-release business.
Having received U/A. certification, ‘Leo’ boasts a runtime of 2 hours and 39 minutes. Despite its action-packed nature, director Lokesh Kanagaraj assures that the film caters to audiences of all generations. The success of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s previous four films has significantly raised expectations for ‘Leo,’ transforming it into the most highly anticipated Tamil film.
