Kendall Jenner Hops on the Motocross Trend

The spring 2023 runway shows were replete with motorsport references, from Masha Popova’s looks decorated with tyre tracks, to Ancuta Sarca’s body-conscious pieces inspired by F1 cars. And It-girls like Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa and Hailey Bieber have all demonstrated that they are ardent supporters of the style. Model Kendall Jenner is the latest to embrace the trend.

This past weekend, the 27-year-old was spotted at brunch in Los Angeles wearing an outfit that nodded to the trending motocross aesthetic. Her look comprised a white T-shirt, high-waisted blue straight-leg Khaite jeans and a vintage Bates Rave yellow and black leather racer jacket. KJ accessorised with black Chimi oval-framed sunglasses, a rose gold Cartier Baignoire watch, a black leather shoulder bag and a pair of a black leather boots from The Row. 

During the ’90s, models like Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford were known for wearing leather motorcycle jackets while off-duty. The modern successor to the title of super is keeping the look alive in the 21st century.
