Veteran actor Jaya Bachchan on Tuesday got angry at paps at the screening of her upcoming romantic drama film ‘in Mumbai.

After the screening, the two were seen holding hands and smiling from ear to ear as they left the theatre. Vicky doubled up as Kat’s bodyguard and asked the paparazzi to keep their distance. While walking to their waiting car, the paps asked the couple how they liked the movie. To this, Vicky replied, “Bohot ache!”
Kat added with a smile, “Amazing movie… wonderful!”

The actress also gestured with her hands to say that the film was very good.

While the two were all praise for the film and its lead stars, they didn’t follow the starry lineup of celebs to Manish Malhotra’s house for the after-party.
Katrina’s appearance at the screening prompted speculation that all was well between the actress and director Karan after his cryptic post set social media abuzz. Rumours of a rift between the two becan doing the rounds after the makers of Katrina’s ‘Merry Christmas‘ with Vijay Sethupathi, announced that the film would release on December 15, thus clashing with KJo’s actioner ‘Yodha‘.

Taking to his handle, the director penned a cryptic post that read, “Clashing on a date without the courtesy of a phone call is hopefully not the way forward for the studios and producers …. If we don’t stand united in these tough and challenging theatrical days then calling us a fraternity is futile.”

In the meanwhile, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ which marks Karan’s return to the director’s chair, will hit the big screen on Friday. The film which stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in lead roles, promises to be a wholesome entertainer, blending Johar’s storytelling with an impressive ensemble cast.
