Katie Holmes Wears a New Luxe Dad Sandal

It comes as no surprise that Katie Holmes was the first to wear Chloé’s new collaboration with Teva. The star was photographed wearing the stacked “ampsole” sandals in the black and white colorway on the official launch day of the partnership (16 May),

Holmes paired the chunky dad sandals with a flowing white maxi skirt, an oversized grey V-neck jumper, layered chain necklaces and her favorite handbag of the moment, Totême’s T-Lock top handle bag.

Teva is known (and loved) for its techy dad sandals and its latest collaboration with Chloé offers a new functional shoe for the street-style set. The brand’s popular Hurricane XLT2 shape has been reworked with new recycled polyester straps, available in three styles: cream and black, black and white (Katie’s pair) and a rainbow colorway with a platform hot-pink sole.

Typically, Katie is a loyal fan of Birkenstock’s signature Arizona slides during the spring and summer months, and she’s recently been seen in Adidas’s cult Samba trainers. Teva already counts the likes of Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner as fans of its practical velcro sandals, and so this luxury version is expected to be a hit with the fashion set.
