Kareena Kapoor, recovering from Covid-19, is heartbroken to be away from Taimur and Jehangir: ‘I miss my babies’

Kareena Kapoor shared an emotional message about missing her sons, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan. She is currently self-isolating as she recovers from Covid-19.

Taking to Instagram Stories on Friday, Kareena wrote, “Covid I hate you…I miss my babies (heartbroken emoji) but…soon…will do this (muscle emojis).”

Previously, on Thursday, Kareena shared a picture of her husband Saif Ali Khan from the balcony of the room she is quarantined in. He stood on the terrace of the opposite building, drinking from a cup. “Ok so we are still…in love in the times of Corona era. Don’t forget guys!!! It’s lurking,” she wrote.

Kareena and her best friend Amrita Arora were diagnosed with Covid-19 earlier this week, after attending a dinner hosted by Karan Johar. Other guests at the gathering–Seema Khan and Maheep Kapoor–also tested positive for the virus.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said in a statement that Kareena and Amrita ‘had violated Covid norms and attended several parties’. However, Kareena’s spokesperson denied the allegations and told India Today that the actor has been ‘extremely responsible throughout the lockdown period’.

“She and Amrita Arora contracted Covid-19 at an intimate dinner where a few friends had gathered to catch up. It wasn’t a big dinner, just a few people close to Bebo (Kareena Kapoor). There was one person in the group who seemed unwell and was coughing. This person should have been responsible enough to not attend the dinner and put others at risk,” the spokesperson added.

On Monday, Kareena informed everyone that she has tested positive for Covid-19 and quarantined herself. “I request anyone who has come in contact with me to please get tested. My family and staff are also double vaccinated. They are currently not showing any symptoms. Thankfully, I am feeling ok and hope to be up and about soon,” she added.
